Got a room in Rawlins Wyoming for the night We MAY have to stay put for a couple of days. Pineapple Bag will be happy, and the Captain is still alert at the head of the pick up. 27 degrees but road is amazingly dry past few miles. ETA Rawlings, Wyoming One hour!
This is a geyser in Soda Springs Idaho that was discovered in 1930s by the city Engineers digging a water line. It erupts every hour on the hour and goes up to 100 feet. What a glorious example of God’s creation! Pineapple bag got wet along with the Navigator and the Captain. The mom-and-pop Arctic Circle where we had our lunch was creatively decorated with the story of the Branches and the Vine. We’re on the road hopefully producing fruit.
The Captain had this, and the Navigator had a burger without the bun, with all the condiments. Pineapple Bag, who is a nutrition expert approved the Navigators choice to leave off the bun:) I’ll have to tell you that the Navigator of the vehicle enjoyed his lunch tremendously!
Headed out of Idaho toward Wyoming and Utah. The snow in Pocatello was a surprise to everyone! Pineapple Bag is just about thawed and ready to pose again!
Surprise, that is big fluffy snow on the front windshield of the Navigator’s truck. Snowfall all night with 33 degree weather, and now melting into slush with 35 degrees and sunshine a bit. WeatherBug says we only had snowfall down here in the valley and not in surrounding towns.
Pineapple bag has really been worried about her friends’ nutrition while traveling, so we prepared a yummy breakfast in the room microwave. Old-Fashioned oatmeal and all the fixings for Captain, Scrambled eggs and grits actually made in the microwave for the Navigator! Pineapple Bag is fasting after being frozen in the cold weather; had to thaw!
