She did sneak a bit of sausage and eggs from the buffet also.
Navigator started her day with a nourishing breakfast, after traversing down to the first floor, and then accompanied Sis to her class of five year olds for Sunday School at Praise Cathedral in Greer.

We also do not take it down to the first floor from the 6th.
The class was refreshing, and reminded navigator that even in this high technology age a five-year-old can relax and be a child.

She has worked many years volunteering with the young ones.
She has her own rocking chair in the classroom from where she reads many stories to them to assist with the spiritual growth.
We moved our base of action to to K&W Cafeteria, joining our relatives for a wonderful Southern lunch!

Turkey and dressing, turnip greens, wonderful tossed salad, broccoli casserole, deviled eggs, and sweet potato pie again!
Tablemates had the chopped beef steak, fried flounder, mashed potatoes, hush puppies, tossed salad, and pecan pie😋
We were so hungry that none of us took pictures of this food, but you can get the gist by looking at the list above.
One day later…Greenville has been a good experience also,
too short, and Navigator was unable to visit
all she had planned to, but seeing family is number one. Plus, both her and Captain having to take a break from it all for R and R, decreased the visit by 2 days.
Thanks to my special sister for making it great!

The surroundings will do that for you!
La Quinta Inn has been welcoming.
Friendly staff.

I heard that he was 13 years old, and his owner had passed away in 2009, but a loving neighbor took him in.
His name was Scruffy; appropriate since he was a real scrapper, and was a rescue dog who had been abused.
Good-bye Scruffy, you were loved😇

More to come…
